- In order to soften your beef steaks, cut a kiwi and massage the meat with it. Let it rest for about 15 minutes, wipe it and it’s ready to cook.
- When meat doesn’t seem to boil, soften it by adding a tea spoon of sugar.
- When making beef with red sauce, don’t add salt from the beginning, as it might harden the meat. The same applies to ground beef as well.
- When cooking ground beef with red sauce, let the meat cook first for a bit and then add the tomato.
- Use clamps when cooking instead of pinching the meat with forks as it drains it from its liquids.
- When wanting to dip it in flour, drain it well first using kitchen paper.
- When you are prepping meat for either burgers or meatballs, pour half a shot vinegar in your mixture. It will make it more tender.
- When you are about to grill your steaks in the barbeque, prep them beforehand. After you have taken them out of the fridge/freezer in room temperature, massage them well to soften.
- If you have time, always choose to marinate your meat before cooking it. Let it rest in the marinade sauce from the day before. Marinade doesn’t only add taste but also softens the meat so it’s better to stir it every once in a while, while it’s resting.
