Toast with mushrooms

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Clean and chop the mushrooms.

    Sauté them with just a bit of olive oil, salt and pepper, in a little pan for about 3-4 minutes.

  2. Spread the cream cheese in both slices of bread and (optionally) add the mustard.

    Moving on we add all the rest of the ingredients. 

    The toast is ready!

Notes

  • For a crispier result, you can bake the toast or the bread slices separately.
  • You can also use canned mushrooms if you prefer to or that's what's available at the time.
  • It is also a great snack idea for both school and work.
  • Wrap it in a kitchen membrane to keep it fresh. If it's summer time, you can carry it around with you and enjoy it at any time of the day without worrying whether it needs to get in the fridge or not.
  • It also is a perfect solution for when you know you're going to be eating later that day but still don't want to have an empty stomach.
