If you were to ask me about some of my favorite recipes or which ones I would definitely want you to try, this would be one of the first. This burger will really blow your palate away. Caramelized onions and avocado dip go perfectly with the salmon burger and bring out its subtle flavor. See below in detail the steps for the burger, for the caramelized onions and the avocado dip. Don't skip this recipe for a "Burger Night" menu.

Ingredients
    Salmon Burger
  • 400 grams Salmon
  • 4 tablespoons Oats
  • 1 White Egg
  • 4 Scallions (thinly chopped)
  • 6-8 Parsley (use only the leaves, chopped)
  • 4-6 drops Tabasco (green or grounded green pepper)
  • 1 Lime (zest and juice)
  • 2 tablespoons Oil

  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • "Tartar Avocado" Spread
  • 1 Avocando (soft)
  • 6 Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Pickled Cucumber
  • 1 Lime (zest and juice)
  • Pepper (fresh grounded)
  • Burger's Set Up
  • 2 Breads (round or brios for burgers)
  • 2 Burgers (salmon)
  • 2 tablespoons Caramelized Onions
  • 4 teaspoons Tartar Avocando Spread
Instructions
    Salmon Burger
  1. Wash the salmon well, and with a good knife, cut it into small pieces. Place in a bowl with all the other ingredients and mix very well.

  2. If we want, we can leave it in the fridge for 1-2 hours, before shaping it otherwise we prepare the burgers by shaping them as usual.

  3. Heat a non-stick pan well and place the burgers. We cook them for 5-7 minutes on each side or depending on how we want our burgers cooked.

  6. "Tartar Avocando" spread
  7. Cut the avocado and pickled cucumber in a bowl and mix all the ingredients. Leave in the refrigerator, covered with a film that touches the spread, until we use it.

  8. Burger's Set Up
  9. If desired, heat the buns a little in the oven or the non-stick pan. Put a generous dose of the tartar on the bottom bun and add the burger on top. Add the onions and the lid from the bun on top.

Notes
  • In the composition of a burger one can make many variations. So in this particular one, you can choose materials that you have at home or others that are your favorites. Because the burger has a very distinct and delicate taste, you can avoid very strong sauces because they will overshadow its taste.
  • If you don't want to use buns, you can replace them with portobello mushrooms. Alternatively, you can prepare steamed rice in a hoop and place the burger on it. If you want to set it up as a virtual burger, you can put the rice in a small bowl to make a ball and prepare one underneath, place your ingredients and finish with rice again.
  • In another healthier option, you can use a whole avocado and put half on the bottom and half on top, instead of buns.
